Graduate Program

Program Overview

We provide structured development opportunities to build a foundation for future growth through business knowledge, diverse learning experiences, interactions with different colleagues and customers, and by enhancing professional skills.

Our program concentrates on one of three areas, e.g. Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing & Technical Service or business support & functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, etc). The program duration ranges from 18-24 months.  Through rotational assignments graduates gain a well-rounded knowledge of BASF’s business environment and acquire the necessary skills in your chosen area.

The foundation framework consists of:

l         Red-carpet orientation

l         Rotational job assignments

l         Off-the-job structured training programs

l         Projects and reports to showcase learning and experiences acquired

l         Rich self-learning resources from our Intranet

To enhance learning and experience, a senior manager will be assigned as your mentor throughout the program, in addition to the on-the-job supervisor for each rotation. Your supervisor will coach you along the process, on topics such as work objectives, procedures and practices. Working with team members from diverse backgrounds in a multi-national setting helps fresh graduates acquire skills to become a valued team player and learn from valuable experiences to appreciate different perspectives.
